Try genealogy.com or roots.com and post what information you have in the appropriate state, county , or last name. Many times someone there may know of them. there are also services on line that can help just go to a search engine and type in "finding lost relatives" and click enter.

It depends on what you know about him.

Is he alive? Do you know his birthdate, social security number, or what city / state he lives in (or used to live in)? Where did / does he work? What are his hobbies? What are the names of his other relatives?

There are quite a few useful websites, but it depends on what information you have. I found a friend's daughter last year through the website at the school where she was working (he knew her name, age, occupation, and state).

Good luck on your search !

I'm not sure of the exact site, but several people have told me that the Mormons have the most extensive family tree registry in existance and have advised me to try looking relatives through them. They say it doesn't matter if you're not a Mormon.

It depends what state or province he is from. You could check the state archives, motor vehicles, vital records, yahoo people search, www.infoseek.com , www.four11.com Try these out they are from my private investigator course. I hope it helps.
