i just finished high school and am trying to decide on what to do now. any suggestions for an interesting proffesion with very little competition and a good pay?

At the moment there is a shortage of plumbers, maths teachers and people joining the army, so try any of those.

Be a math teacher. Well, that is if you like math. There is a nation wide shortage of them and most school systems are offering sign on bonuses for math teachers. In addition teachers do not make nearly as bad pay as many say they do.
For example, the average starting pay for most B.A.'s (or B.S.'s) hovers around lower $30,000's. The average starting pay for teachers hovers around mid-30,000's AND THAT IS ONLY WORKING 9-10 MONTHS OF THE YEAR COMPARED TO THE 12 MONTHS EVRY ELSE WORKS!!!!

Army National Guard, you'll help the community and learn a job skill. They have some really good incentives now and you can further your education while they pay for it all the way or most of the way.

1. what wud u wanna do free of cost for anyone?
2.ask what u feel is really mysterious for u, which u wud like to explore
when u ans. these ques....u gt the ans dear!!!and this is wat u can do.....no matter the competition as ur heart is with u.....!
and pay ? is there any bigger salary than contentment?no!

you could become LPN ( nursing ). I know they pay well and you don't have to go through university. There is one course you take and you have to have high school Biology 12.

are you going to college? that's where you decide your career, if not...I can't think of a good job you can get right out of highschool. (one with great pay anyways)
