I think so, although there is some logic to it, if you try to analyze it. But then again, mostly everything around we give meaning to becomes subjective hence, the use of this method becomes very confusing...

False.

Philosophy is the study of thinking. Try studying what people are thinking. It is not all logic. It's not all black and white. It's many shades of grey, and that is the fun in it. It is fun seeing the glass half empty and then half full and ten not seeing the glass at all. I know that makes little sense to most, but; it opens a world of possibilities to others.

Personally, I just find this to be more of te same. I have read some, studied some, and know little, but; I don't find this a total mockery of Philosophy.

I even attended a class on the philosophy of cartoons. Why is it that the coyote doesn't fall immediately when he runs off the cliff?

Give everyone a break. Occasionally they will surprise you.

False. The category is incapable of mocking. What people choose to put into the category might actually mock philosophy--but that is not the fault of the category itself (or even of those who established the category).

I don't think the category is mocking philosophy, I think people who ask stupid questions are mocking philosophy.
