Just tell her! It has to go better then how my mother found out. I did not know what it was, and my mother was doing the wash and found a lot of blood. She thought I was a cutter! When I came clean She gave me a pad and told me every thing was fine. It took me 2 years after wards be for I got the sex talk.

just come out and tell her. When I first got my period I was very nervous and didn't know what was happening. My mom found my underwear and that started my first conversation. you can try that if you are still hestitant about talking to her straightforward. all that I can say is that getting your period is nothing that your mother hasn't already experienced and she really would be the best person to talk about it with.
