You may look different because of the weight loss, but if you're ugly, no amount of weight loss in the world will help that. Then, you'll just be skinny and ugly.

I do not know if loosing weight will improve the way you look but you are probably not ugly, and just have a low self-esteem issue so if you lost weight you would probably feel better about yourself

Depends how overweight you are. If your crazily overweight than it wouldn't do that much.

if you can learn anything please learn this. You can please some of the people some of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time. So find a weight that you and happy with and to hell with the people that don't approve. Just be yourself.
