alright here we go lets see if i can ask this to where someone actually understands. My lawnmower broke yesterday and I dont have the money to go out and buy a new one. Although i need to figure out how to fix this one. This is the problem--- The part that holds the blades in place is broke. Alright you unscrew the bottom then a washer is there then the blades then the part that is broke. Can I mow without this peice and put it back together? or is there a way I can fix it? Or do I need to go get a new peice here? I know silly question although there has to be someone out there that knows. Thanks to all and have a wonderful day:)

Replace the piece. Too dangerous to attempt quick repair. The piece will be a lot less expensive and painfull than impaling you or someone else's body with a flying mower blade....

I don't think you can fix that? If the blade will not stay screw in and doesn't wobble DO NOT USE IT It can Hurt you badly. Your going to need to go to walmart on-line and apply for a walmart credit card and if they will give you one take and copy the code and go strait there and get a new one for 140 bucks and be done with it SAFETY FIRST.

Good luck

it will damage the mower and possibly come off during the blade rotation, thus possibly loosing a foot or worse. I'd get it fixed before using again. Borrow a mower until them.

Riding mower? then its the mandrel I beleive your talking about.

Pushmower? then thats just the blade adapter, some are pressed on, others just slip on freely. You can get a shop to heat it up (not too much to burn the lower oil seal) and pop it off and replace it rather cheaply.

without that piece, the blade can spin off. Should be able to get that piece at a hardware store for a couple of bucks
