I have a lot of belly fat. I wouldn't say I'm obese or anything. I'm 5'10" and weigh about 230. But it's embarassing because people think I'm pregnant. Is there some type of medical condition that causes it? I have tried dieting and sit ups and I walk a lot. I can't get rid of it. Can this cause medical problems in the future?

Fat around the middle is worse than fat anywhere else. People with fat in this area are more likely to suffer from a whole slew of health problems.

Trans fats in foods cause more abdominal fat than other types of fat (saturated or unsaturated). One common type of trans fat is called "partially hydrogenated oil".

The best thing to get rid of this fat is to change your diet to one low in fats (trans fats in particular). Lipsuction is also helpful, but strangely, lipo has not been shown to reverse the dangers caused by abdominal fat; therefore dieting is preferable.

Good luck!

well, you need to set aside time each day to excircise about an hour or more. 1st stretch, then maybe take a 5 minute walk to get you warmed up, never do the same routine every day, instead mix it up abit, one day run on the treadmill, the next swim a few laps, or take a bike ride, If you do the same thing every day, your body will get used to it and stop burning as many calories. Also, after your main work out, do about 50 sit ups or more to tone your tummy, or take a pilates class at a gym or something. And, try going about 21 days with out sugar or fatty foods, because it takes that amount of time to break a habbit, so you probablly won't want any bad food as much and you can get thinner. Hope this helps!

Get a liposuction surgery in India.Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.If you still havent got your surgery done, you are better off getting it done in India.

my cousin got a couple of plastic surgery including her liposuction procedure through the forerunners healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA.hope this helps.

Cut down on sugar and cut out all cakes and chocolates. Exercise daily. Drink lots of fluids. Also have a word with your doctor. You could have digestive problems.
