After many hours of searching the Internet we always find ourselves ending up back at lastminute. com. Last year in may we got flights to Sydney for £600 return. We booked them about 3 weeks in advance. They were with Singapore airline which are excellent. Also STA Travel are very good under 26 get a discount. Hope this helps.

Try going in off peak times like b4 end of this month. Also use a search engine like airlinenetwork or cheapestflights.co.uk Search around as well. U may need 2 travel with another person 2 get it cheap (companion fare). If it's Christmas go b4 10 Dec. Hope this helps, if u told people the dates u wanted 2 go I cud tell u how much the cheapest flight is.

Unfortunately i dont think there is such a thing as 'cheap' flights to australia. I was looking to go out there and i used expedia.co.uk, showed me the cheapest flights were about £800-£900 return. You could try travelocity.co.uk aswell, thats supposed to be the same sort of thing

www.skyscanner.net, www.sta-travel.co.uk (particularly under 25s), www.travelbag.co.uk.
Google "cheap flights Australia" and see what comes up. I flew in 2002 for £650, which was good at the time. That was with JAL, and the service was excellent.
