Yes, there is.
If the particular space on the hard disk has not been used by anything else yet, you are able to retrieve the picture.
It's a little tedious but as some one pointed out earlier, there should be software available to do an Unerase/Undelete.
When you delete any file, the only thing that is deleted are usually the link from the content directory to that particular file plus information that the disk space is used.
In another note, if your ever intend to sell your PC, make sure to use some software that really erases all information on your hard disk. Otherwise, specialists are able to retrieve everything that you had ever stored, including such critical information as bank account, credit card information, passwords, ...

ABSOLUTELY; don't listen to the first few people answering your question. Go to yahoo or Google and search the word 'undelete'. I don't use an undelete program, but I know you can recover your file easily by using it, assuming too much time hasn't passed.
The system will eventually re-use the deleted data to the point where it will be unrecoverable, but it takes a while. If it's been a short time period, using an undelete program will enable you to get it back.

There are ways to un-delete files. When you delete a file, it may not be present in windows, but it does physically exist on the hard drive until it is written over with something else. You need to use software to recover the data, and the sooner, the better.
There is software out there to recover lost data, but that part I'm not familiar with. You go to www.winundelete.com or www.undelete.com to get more info.

Yes. Just get a good undelete program and you can recover most anything if you haven't copied alot of things onto you computer since the time you deleted what you wish to recover. Go to cnet.com for some good recovery programs. Good Luck

Unfortunately, the file name may have changed but there is still a chance and that depends on how much u have deleted since that file
Good luck

Try a system restore. Restore to a earlier date but remember the computer will be just like it was back at that date anything new will be lost unless you save to disk.
