My pet's IQ isn't measured by numbers, it's measured by integrity and I have met few people who add up. Canines exhibit all the traits we aspire to; courage, loyalty, unconditional love, being happy in their own skins with outside chemicals. Enjoying a sunny day to run, play and be happy within themselves. To let others touch them, to comfort and always let you know, you are their world and they would die for you if need be. To be quiet and sit beside you while you cry to guard your bed at night against whatever demons lie, and to make you laugh when you thought you could never laugh again. To find us when we are lost and bring us home again.

They put us to shame with their courageous, undying spirit. They teach us what it truly means to be human.

If my pet was human, intellectually he'd be up there, emotionally, he'd blow Einstein out of the water!

One of my cats would be a genius, two would be about average intelligence and the other would be an idiot (head is an echo chamber for the meow!). The genius cat turns on the faucet in my kitchen, turns on the printer for my computer and waits with impatience for packages (not containing food) to be opened so that he can see what is in them, then exams the contents with great interest.

i don't know about their IQ, but i know what kind of people my dogs would be if they were human. my dog would be a smarmy lounge lizard type of guy complete with hairy chest and gold chains with his shirt open to his belly button hitting on all the ladies in the bar with cheesy pick up lines. my husbands dog would be the criminal mastermind of some mafia group or an international smuggler/arms dealer who uses her criminal skills to dominate the world and take whatever she wants without ever getting caught.

I love my pet dog Smokey but He'd be on the short bus also.
I'd say and I.Q of......Minus 3.

All he does is dig up the yard.
Bark at Birds.

And one time a low jet was flying over and he was running, barking up at it and ran smack into the fence. Head First.

Oh and bark at the riding lawn mower.

100 for one cat
40 for the other....he's just stupid. Runs through the house (for no apparent reason) and slams into the wall while his brother (100 IQ cat) watches from the couch.
