Take it to a shop that does auto AC work. The stuff you buy at the store sometimes will react with the original r134, and cause it to solidify. This is not the do-it-yourself project, trust me, I tried and it cost me $1200 to fix. If you want it done right, take it to a mechanic.

could be that there is already enough in it... or that you are not doing it right. Take it to a service shop... they will know exactly what to do. I put frieon in my truck and it worked fine... you just have to watch that pressure and have someone with the air conditioner on and tell you when it gets cold.

IF YOUR NOT CAREFUL THE CAN WILL BLOW UP IN YOUR HAND. ALSO YOU CAN WASTE ALOT IF NOT CONNECTED PROPERLY.WHICH CAN BECOME EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. mAIN THIN IS TO WEAR PROCTECTIVE EYE-WEAR AND TRY NOT TO PUT YOUR FACE TO CLOSE. CALL AUTOZONE AS A LAST RESORT AND THEY WILL TELL YOU HOW TO DO IT.
