I have to honestly say that i have to agree with you with what i read of your question, i have gotten the same letter...actually i got 2 violations today for chatting private correspondence for asking about a twinkie for f888ks sake....
people really need to grow the hell up on here and stop abusing the report abuse button, I have never reported anyone unless it had to do with some serious child abuse, racism or animal abuse otherwise i could care less what people say or think......

I reported you once because you impersonated Mr. Crowley and defamed his character which is explicitly verboten in Yahoo rules. Only once, tho. Nice to know that I, following the rules and reporting a misuse of the site, am a crybaby. You also later posted a nonsensical rant on two of my questions. Whatever, dude.

I was reported once and for something I didn't do! It was so lame. Someone asked a "sexual" question and I answered. Next thing I knew someone reported me for "exploiting minors". I have NEVER exploited anyone! I wrote back to Yahoo and insisted they re-check my answer to prove to them that I did not violate the terms of this site. It's really, really lame!

Actually, people report others who abuse the site and what it is supposed to be used for. We have no desire to see others post erroneous comments, waste space, or harrass others. That is called being an adult. I am sorry if you cannot handle that, but in order to live in Adult Land with the rest of us, you are going to have to get use to that.

So I always write back, include an explanation, and they are cool about it. But, yes, they should get on the ones rampantly reporting. It's fascist man!
