Try the SBC Yahoo! Online Protection Software. I haven't seen a pop-up since I installed it.

then perhaps you can try installing the yahoo toolbars that actually blocks up alot of popups and then make sure you have scanned the computer throughly using the sybot search and destroy or you can also block the sites from allowing the pop ups that will be possible in the internet explorer settings. go to tools then pop up blocker then pop up blocker settings then you carry on from that stage. alternatively you can also use the mozilla browser to surf the net. the really last choice is also scan the computer with anti virus software. might also be a useful solution to the problem.

REBOOT into SAFE mode. Run your Anti-virus software, then run Ad-aware and SpyBot again.

Also, check for unused programs. Go to your Control Panel and open the ADD/REMOVE programs section. UNINSTALL bogus programs that you do not use. Especially third party screen savers, Coupon programs, SAVE MONEY programs, bogus Games and other CRAP.

You should also go to www.mozilla.com and get FIREFOX. That browser is very resistant to popups.

adaware is a anti spyware tool and will not help with popups.

I assune u r using internet explorer...
Switch to Mozilla firefox or opera browser. Theyhave popup stoppers built in.
If using windows XP..install SP2..it comes with a popup blocker.
Another option is to install google toolbar which does the same.
And u'll find many stand alone pop up blockers..
just go to downloads.com

If you are using Windows XP in SP2 upgrade there is a very good pop-up blocker. I use this one and is very good.

In your explorer go to Tools, Windows Update and dowload SP2.

Then again at Tools you will have a new option (Pop-up Blocker) and you can choose the settings you want.

Get some more paid anti-spyware products to get rid of the infections. Additionally, if you're using Internet Explorer (IE), get rid of it. Download Mozilla Firefox or Opera web browswer. (if you really love IE, then get some paid program such as Secure IE to complement IE)...

if you're really fed up...just re-format your entire hard drive (delete everything...back up what you need on a CD or DVD)...then use precautions once you're clean (like a differnet web browser, etc.)

Scan for viruses! Sophos has a decent free emergency ani-virus program: http://www.sophos.com/support/disinfection/trojan.html
Go to item #2 Subsection 1. for instructions.

You can also try pop-up stopper:
