First of all, no man can ever die for another persons sins! If you take a skeleton of a human being and imagine the Soul that comes into a human body at birth. Then you can see that it is crucified on the cross of bones and flesh. Constantine developed the Christian Religion. Recent books and ancient papyrus are nowing coming forth that show that Jesus was still living in 45 AD. Draw a cross and overlay it on a human skeleton with arms out stretched and you will see. We are to forgive others, so that there is no negativity of hatred or anger in our own beingness-soul. Sin is an ancient Old English term which means to miss the mark and as human beings, we are not perfect. But there is the Law of Sewing and reaping-Universal Law
that returns to us what we have sown in our life and it is this Law of the Universe that teaches through experience and is the end result of our thoughts, deeds and words. So when things don't go well in life, we have to look back at our life and see what was the "FIRST CAUSE" OF THE PROBLEMS WE ARE HAVING AT THE MOMENT! FORGIVENSS IS CLEANING THE SLATE.THE LAW OF ATTRACTION COMES INTO OUR BEING-LIFE IF WE HATE, WE RECEIVE HATE, CONVERSLY LOVE WHEN WE LOVE ONE ANOTHER

it is a physical manifestation of a spiritual thing, often the intercessors (ppl who pray for others alot) step into the place of that persona and prays for that person taking everything that specific person is onto themselves. when jesus died for the sins of the entire race his last words was "it is finished". never again will he or anyone be physically crucified for another. wen adam and eve sinned in eden, sin entered the world therefore every man was born into sin God's perfect paln was destroyed but he made a way out immedaitaly and in issiah he fore tells the coming of Jesus.
Jesus was without sin, he was a spotless lamb, in the old testament the priests would sacrifice lamb in order to gain forgiveness of God only the priest could enter beyond the veil that separated the inner court with the holy of holies where god dwelled. but the sacrifice of jesus destroyed that veil no any man can come to the Father through the Son.
kinda complicated i know

some big differences between Jesus and anyone else are as follows:
-Jesus never sinned
-Jesus was the son of God, and in another sense he is God, the creator of the universe who reduced himself to a human
Now Gods rule was that to wipe clean the sins of man a perfect sacrifice would be needed. Someone who had never sinned. and so he sent his son (himself via the trinity) to be that sacrafice.
Jesus has already paid for everyones sins. No one else can do what he did because no one else is free of sin.
Think about this. God created the universe. A place with more galaxies than all the grains of sand on earth, unimaginabely huge. He created life. and this glorious God reduced himself to a human, who would be killed by the very people he gave life to, for the sake of our sins. That is humbleness and love. God doesnt expect you to live a perfect life. He wants you to acknowledge and repent your sins and accept the gift of salvation that he gave to you.
that only he can give to you.

That is a good question, but as was clearly evident in the scriptures of the bible (even before the birth of Jesus Christ) there were a lot of references to a saviour to be sent by the Father for all mankind´s sins, whether past, present or future sins. Mankind has disappointed God the Father for all the sins they have committed, and still committing. This led for God to also find a way for humankind to be saved from our sins. Not by our own works but by acknowledging the presence of the Messiah. Hence, there were even rumors that it was John the Baptist as the messiah, or the one sent from God. Even after Christ´s death, there were a lot who can even perform miracles. But, the consistency and life of Jesus Christ was way different from the other "prophets" of that time. Literrally, we today can also "die" of our worldly sins, by accepting Jesus Christ as our Saviour, and live a life of gratitude for what He has done for us. Hence, all of those who does this, are "dead" to sin already.

Many terms need clarification!
Sin: my definition is: the lack of or opposition to knowledge!
Death: can a "god" die?
Jesus: any historical evidence that he ever existed?
Why would someone claim he/ she sacrifices anything for me (or another one)? No, I do not want this! I want justice! Also, who is telling and defining "sin"?
Mostly, following Mother Nature, we are considered sinners, by some low level people and religions!
None is sacrificing himself for anyone! This is not accepted by anyone and any religion or state!
We might sacrifice ourselves for Freedom, Justice, Democracy, Family, etc.

I dont know about Jesus, but normally as per Karma theory everyone has to pay for his sins, and get rewarded for his good karma

Jesus was just another person, he was the Son of God, a diety in the flesh, or God in flesh....
this is not a philsophy question, it is a spirituality question

very good question, I bet no religious freak can answer that. Because logically......if it were true you should be able to kill anyone for your sins and be forgiven.
