That's a difficult question actually. I can't pick just one at the moment. Johnny Depp is definitely in the top. He excels at drama and comedy. He's great, very versatile. Sean Penn is definitely among the best, too...his performance in Mystic River alone--astounding. I think Edward Norton is a great actor, definitely one of my favorites. And I'm going to throw a supporting one out there-Peter Saarsgard, he's done some great work. And I'll stop with these two: Alan Rickman and Gary Oldman, both very versatile, can play villains or heroes, comedy or drama.

Sidney Poitier and Paul Newman, but they're older.

I think Tom Hanks has been outstanding in the last 15 years. So has Gene Hackman, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino and Denzel Washington. Wow, so many to choose from!

Gene Hackman. He becomes his role and makes it look so natural. With some of the other big names like Pacino or Sean Penn, you're always aware that you're watching a BIG FAMOUS ACTOR. Hackman inhabits a role so completely that you can get lost just watching him.
