Charles Darwin's book on the theory of evolution and natural selection presents very credible evidence when it comes to how animals and humans are how they are.
For example, let's take into account the Peppered Moths.
(I'll copy/paste this from Wikipedia because they do better at explaining it than I do)
The evolution of the peppered moth over the last two hundred years has been studied in detail. Originally, the vast majority of peppered moths had light coloration, which effectively camouflaged them against the light-colored trees and lichens which they rested upon. However, due to widespread pollution during the Industrial Revolution in England, many of the lichens died out, and the trees which peppered moths rested on became blackened by soot, causing most of the light-colored moths, or typica, to die off due to predation. At the same time, the dark-colored, or melanic, moths, carbonaria, flourished because of their ability to hide on the darkened trees.[1]
Since then, with improved environmental standards, light-colored peppered moths have again become common, but the dramatic change in the peppered moth's population has remained a subject of much interest and study, and has led to the coining of the term industrial melanism to refer to the genetic darkening of species in response to pollutants. As a result of the relatively simple and easy-to-understand circumstances of the adaptation, the peppered moth has become a common example used in explaining or demonstrating natural selection to laypeople and classroom students.[2]
In other words, the moths, once white, adapted to its new and more polluted environment. The darker moths that could camouflage into the newly darkened trees were the ones that were able to survive. Therefore, they sprung a whole new race of peppered moths.
I believe this is plausible evidence to how truth evolution is. Places change, and the ones that are better suited for the environment, will survive and their offspring will carry those characteristics.

When you say 'Theory of Evolution', I think you mean Darwainian theories like 'natural selection' and so many more.
There were quite a few scientists like Darwin in his day contributing to the theories of evolution.
Like someone said earlier, a theory is just that; A Theory.
If you're interested in different studies done; check out Gregor Mendel, or Augustus Weissman and Sir Francis Galton.

It is a "theory" because there is no definite proof. But there is a good deal of evidence that supports it. The amount of evidence increases every day.
Importantly the theory of evolution is perfectly consistent with the there being a Creator.

Partially. We still fail to see the truth in Human evolution. Different species just don't pop out of nowhere. People dont understand the relationship of mating a matation in human evolution. The Neanderthal is a perfect example. Modern man is a mix of Neanderthal and his mutation Homo Sapiens. These mutations took many thousands of years. Some of us are a little and I mean a little more Sapien Sapien than Neanderthal or vice versa. People don't understand that Neanderthal did not die and the hands of some tribe in France, he just stop being Neanderthal through death, mating, and of course evolution.

under excerpt is taken from "the present" on actuality Contest. --- Charles Darwin revealed how evolution works, yet no longer what it truly potential. Evolution isn't any longer basically an theory; it truly is been shown actual previous a actual looking doubt. the concern is, even people who have faith evolution is actual disassociate themselves from the technique. They a technique or the different skipped each and all of the decrease varieties of animal life and basically began out on the precise of the evolutionary ladder. The evidence says we developed as life developed. people did no longer basically look on the precise of the evolutionary ladder to acquire the reward of those thousands and thousands of years of evolution with out having to stay with the aid of it. In different words, you have been those different animals. You had to be decrease animals to be a human now. You lived as each and all of the countless animals on your evolutionary line. You lived with the aid of thousands and thousands of years, and thousands and thousands of lives and deaths to get to the place you at the instant are. that's what Darwin's e book potential. besides to the fossil evidence, the genetic code proves that each and every person animals, consisting persons, developed from micro organism over the final seven-hundred million years in the worldwide. In different words, you have been a microbe, an insect, a fish, a dinosaur, an ape... while each and all of the evidence (one hundred%) says some thing took place, and there is no evidence (0) that something could have took place, it truly is the actuality previous a actual looking doubt to honest, rational people. we've come an truly, very good distance, yet we've a sprint extra to flow. the subsequent and final step in our evolution is getting to grasp and accepting the actuality of life, and this includes acknowledging our actual previous.

No, it is in fact a theory, without proven facts but based on observations. I wouldn`t want to think of myself with apes as aborigines! We humans try to explain everything around us to put a certain order in our perspectives of the world around us. And that includes our existence. But, God works in mysterious ways as they say...Ways that we, His creation, may or may never be able to understand. So we put meaning to what we just observed.

it cant be completely proven yet, but the evidence is great ,where as other theories i will not mention are so out of line, make no sense ,and cannot be proven.

I personally believe it is...there is enough scientific evidence to prove it. However, because of religion it is considered highly controversial, so honestly it's all about your religious preferences and your own beliefs.
