For me I love both types of movies!

I'd pick Harry Potter. I love the Lord of the Rings. I have read the books for over 30 years. That's why I HATE the movies because they changed the ending and other things. I don't care how cool the action is. The whole story was about the hobbits and they changed the story at the end, I was disappointed. The journey's and trial they went through taught them to take care of themselves and Hollywood robbed us of this part of the story. It's what the books were about.

For the movies, I like Lord Of The Rings more, but for the books I like Harry Potter more.
I like the Lord Of The Rings movies more because I think they have better graphics and that they are just more fun to watch. I enjoy watching these movies because they are a lot more fun to watch. I don't like the Harry Potter movies as much because they aren't the same as the book. I read the books first, so it was weird for me to watch the movie after I already imagined the characters in the book.
For books, I like Harry Potter more because I can actually follow the story. I tried reading the Hobbit once, and I did all I could just to finish that book. I had a hard time following the story line and the characters. I like the Harry Potter books because I they are lot easier to follow and I enjoy reading them.

I really hate both of the movies but I choose Lord of the Rings cuz it has Orlando Bloom in it and he looks so hot with that long blonde hair and Harry Potter is just wierd.

Lord of the ring it doesn't make me fall asleep like Harry potter does at times
