Possible valve guides and seals. May sure the oil can drain back to oil pan under valve covers. If not, oil can submerge the seals. The seals can't keep oil from leaking by the guides if they are submerged in oil. I don't think it would be rings, but you can do a wet compression test to find out. Good luck

The ring that are on the pistons are probably bad and that will make the car use more ore because it smokes. you could have oil leaks.

You may have overfilled your oil pan and it is getting into the firing chambers of the pistons.
