I think it would be great if we got some of these deadbeat parents to pay up!! I don't know anyone who is getting rich off child support. My support for my oldest is $200. a month. I haven't seen very much support..In the last 10 years I have received $377. SAD...isn't it. I think if he wasn't able to get a drivers license that would make a difference in the amount of child support I would see!!

You can pass all the laws that you want and in-act all kinds of pressure. A deadbeat Dad is the worst human on the planet and they just do not care if their children are supported or not. They will do their jail time and all the time they are there will shout how he has been wronged and duped. He really feels that he contributed all that was necessary when he donated his sperm. I have nothing to do with a guy that does not only support his children but goes the extra mile and sends extras.

Not only do I agree...I feel there are a lot of other issues that need to be "fixed" as well. For instance I pay for insurance and have for 7 years, I am the custodial parent, yet I still have to pay the first 500 of medical expenses, what the hell is that? Why not 50/50? The father cancels his visits whenever the hell he feels like it, but if I would do that, I'd have hell to pay. The justice system sucks, and I have no faith in it, so good luck. My son is forced to go to a man he does not want to see.

hell no! if you act civil and allow the father to be apart of the childs life ,you might get some help, jail and prison time doesn't work because if he's locked up you still don't collect any money, and only make it harder for him to get a good job when he gets out !!!!
