I ordered a portrait online the other day. I received an email stating that my order has been shipped. Today I checked my credit card statement online and it said I received a credit to my account for the portrait. I tracked the shipment online and it said that it has left it's fedex destination and is on it's way. My question is, will the company realize the mistake and re-charge my credit card (do they need my authorization to do that) or do you think I will receive my portrait for free??

Hi you will get charged. I am sure they will find what happenned and reverse the transaction. No they don't need authorization because U already gave it to them.

This is the problem with automatic emails, one tells u one thing and another tells u something else! They don't need your authorization again and they'll probably catch the mistake.

Companies usually figure it out and fix the issue. Sometimes it's not worth it to research the matter though.
