Stricter laws against such acts. The death penalty for people involved and more camps like camp-X.
It is a terrible thing to say but that seems the only way to deal with these killers.....We should open forced labour camps for them, that would put them off surely?

as long as there will be humans will be terrorists as well. So no one can stop terrorism. But clever politician can do a lot to defuse tensions. Not all Muslims are threat. They only feel left behind and not equal. Terrorists always comes from poor countries. If the money spent on war in Iraq was used to help Muslim countries and raise their economies the threat would be lower. West and Islam must find the way to live together in peace in this small planet.

No all Muslims aren't a threat but bombing the crap out of innocent civilians doesn't make terrorism any less likely in the future. Even if a victory is attained in military terms, in human terms it is a disaster because you are making a generation of potential terrorists maybe 20 years later when the children who experienced all that grow up into adults. How about making some friends in the world instead of assuming the whole world only exists to feed Western greed.

According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, in 2003 the United States spent approximately 47% of the world's total military spending.
The current (2005) United States military budget is larger than the military budgets of the next twenty biggest spenders combined, and six times larger than China's, which places second.

Also compare the performance of the United States on non-military things:

Ummm.. not so great.
I wonder who is a bigger threat to the world.
Education almost certainly opens the mind, broadens the horizons of thought and makes people more tolerant. Like another person said, if the money spent on war was spent on educating the people of the poorer countries helping them see the underlying universal similarity of humanity then there would be no terrorism.

No not all Muslims are a threat. I've been in many Muslim countries and they are hospitable, friendly and are humorous even. Even in Iraq, I've met some great people and befriended many.
It's just those who think everyone should worship like them. I've met a few fundamentalists like that but they don't go around blowing up things... um except for the ones blowing up abortion clinics and Federal buildings.
How do we get them to stop? How do we get them to think that it's wrong to do what they believe their Faith is telling them to do? How do we get terrorists to stop recruiting young, idealistic teens and young adults, who just want to be accepted and be part of something big?
The going idea is to make the place secure enough where such a crime would be punished. We don't have that problem in many Muslim countries where there are extremist organizations. Remember that Bin Laden started in Saudi Arabia. He built is organization from his contruction company workers. His first operation was Somalia where 'black hawk down' happened. You didn't know that was his org? Yep, he told the people that we were there to rape the women and kill the men. Of course they were going to be mad and try to stop us. They leanred that if they do enough terror, we will just leave and tuck tail. Not this time.
What do you think we should do? Tuck tail and wait for the next 3000 people to die in this country?

all muslims are NOT a threat. Only the radical ones. I have no idea what to do to stop the terrorism. There is no way to get people to get along when they think they are right.

To stop terrorism in the world,we must get rid off Blank & B-liar , Ozzi Howard and zionists. Then, only then,we all live in peace just like we have done when southern Europe was ruled by Muslims of Tukey.
Facts MUST be told.

Terrorists swim in a sea of normal peoples complacency or fear. If the whole global muslim community turned against the small minority of terrorists and left them in no doubt that they were not representative of Islam, that would be the first step.
Same applies to narco terrorists in South America, Basque Seperatists in Spain, Tamils in Sri Lanka and various all over Africa.
A terrorist cannot survive if he or she is not fed, given money, or given shelter.
What really brought the end of the IRA was when September 11th showed "Irish" Americans what death by terror was really about, and what their money had been funding all those years.
Its one thing giving a dollar in a bar, but different when you see someones wife, mother or son blown apart by the bomb it bought.

Bush is doing it, even with Democrats trying so hard to stop him from protecting us. And of course not all Muslims are a threat. It's the radical extremists.

Wipe out their leaders & supporters. Only the finantical Muslims seem to be a problem, but it is unfortunate that all Muslims will end up suffering for a few "bad apples" that seem to have spoiled the whole barrel!

Arabs were once the rulers of the world, They built an empire stretching from China to Europe. Prosperous and highly cultivated, they travelled all around world, gathering and fostering the foundations of what is called now modern science and culture, thus contributing their bit to the welfare and emancipation of mankind.
Now they are called ignorant, uncivilized and intent on destroying values cherished by modern world. How do you expect them to react? And how do you expect them to feel when they are asked to renounce their ancient heritage and adopt a lifestyle they abhor?
