First check the divorce decree to see if there is any stipulation there. I would consult with an attorney in Texas about it, but I think the best way to go about it is for the Daughter to ask her father to help provide for her education. Many benefits to children in this situation end at 18, but Daughters have been known to ask their parents for money for many things and her asking may work better than having a court demand he pay.
If he won't pay then with her decreased income benefits, she may qualify for grants at the school or low interest student loans that she pays off after she graduates.
Get that girl some education however you can!

You need to check the divorce decree. The decree may stipulate how long and under what circumstances child support will be paid. If the divorce decree doesn't provide your answer, then check with an atty well-versed in your state's family law. You can also research the Internet. If it's not in the decree and there's no specific law, you may have a hard time continuing to collect without going back to court.

I know that in my case, my dad has to pay Child Support until I am either 22 or no longer a full-time student. However, he is now trying to get support stopped, so that can happen too...although it sucks.

It seems as all states can vay. In my state AZ the parent pays utnil the child is 18, even if still in high school. I think this is more the norm. Nothing about paying for child in college. You might want to check online your state's legal statutes. HTH..
