christopher reeve IS SUPERMAN. end of story. i know he's gone now, but the first superman movie he did probably wont ever be topped by any other superman thing. i have a feeling this new brandon routh one will be pretty good, but it wont be able to beat the old ones. i dont care how much money it makes, or anything like that, i'm just going by the feeling of the movie, especially when you consider the technology and special effects of the era. that movie still looks good today.

I think both Tom Welling and Christoper Reeve played superman pretty good although they are both set in diffrent stages of supermans life. I havent really thought of any bad superman actor. I hope Brandon Routh can pull it off as superman since CR passed away.

George Reeves was the Superman of the '50's, so some of us old folks prefer watching the old episodes. Chris Reeve brought some new dimensions to the role. I think they were both best in their category.

Christopher reeves was very good. Although he cliamed it was hard to keep a serious look on his face. He almost broke out laughing a few times during some scenes.

I personally liked the old black and white version on TV I can't remember what his name was. But they say he killed himself back in the old days.
