If she breastfed, her nipples would be large. Yes it is normal for different women to have different sized nipples. Along with everything else. Not all women are the same and does it really matter? If no one can give you the answer then go on the net and search it out medically. And men's nipples get smaller when stimulated or cold too!

yes... it is normal, my nipples are small .... while my mum has big ones as well as my sister...
but i know that lady she has smaller ones that even her new baby was not able to suck them for breast feeding!!! but she is still normal and that is how the body is!!!

Could be flat or inverted. It happens. Don't stress about it. It's just one of those things.
Oh, and it CAN make breastfeeding awkward
