You could have allergies to dust mites. Go see a general doctor and get tested, you could then take something like zyrtec, etc.

I have the same problem! some mornings are better than others though. I have allergies which I think causes my eyes to swell the most. Not just atmospheric allergies but also I am very sensitive to cleansers, creams, etc... I once used my moms supposedly mild all natural eye cream and my eyes were swollen completely shut by morning. Pay attention to what you're using on your face at night, I've gotten to the point where I can just smell something and know if it's going to bother me. So, what seems to help me the most is: take an allergy pill or anti-histamine pill (one that doesn't keep you wide awake all night!), use gentle products on your face that are hypo-allergetic/fragrance free, get up a little earlier and do the cold teabags, cucumbers, refrigerated eye mask, Finally, use a de-puffing eye gel in the morning (I use Avon's advanced eye perfector with peptides...whatever peptides are, they reduce swelling really well) I hope this helps...I know how you feel!

I can say with 99.9% accuracy that it is an allergy. My sister used to have a problem with her eyes being glued shut because they would produce so much sleep over night that they caked up. Your eyes swelling sounds exactly like what she had. We went to her allergy doctor and he referred her to the Head of Dermatology at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. There are creams you can get that will clear this up within a couple of months and they're well worth it. I had the skin condition myself but to a lesser degree than my sister did.

First thinks first, If this is a problem why r you asking a bunch of people that have no medical training about your Eyes. Shut you be see a eye doctor before you can develope a potentialy blinding problem. second why r you still reading this crap and r not in the way to the doctor.

Something like an ant must have bitten you.It might sound funny but that has been the case with me once. Another reason might be a lack of sleep. Try washing your eyes deeply with water.

I use a freshly cleaned cold washcloth every morning and just hold it on my eyes. some people use cold cucumbers, others use ice. Then, I use a nice eye lotion. Total time about 10 minutes.

Maybe you aren't getting enough sleep.

You can try wearing those cool, gel eye masks while you're asleep. They may reduce the swelling.

I think it because your eyes are shut tight while you sleep. Tea bags that are wet, or cucumber slices will reduce the puffiness.

I used to get that.
I threw out all my pillows and bought new ones that have a hypoallergenic cover on them.
