Talk to your doctor. If you are extremely nervous about fly your doctor can percribe some medicine to help calm you down on the day of the flight.
Good luck to you

I used to fly into BC regularily...it's great, and a little exciting, especially if your plane does its final approach from the West...the runway sticks out into the water...it looks like your gonna do a belly flop, but land does appear. Remember most of BC is mountians, and they right up to the ocean.
If your nervous, you might wanna ask your doctor for something you can take an hour or so before the flight. Other then that, enjoy the flight, and remember being drunk at 40,000 ft is much differant then ground/sea level.
Have a good trip!!

I used to fly when I was younger and was cool with it-- then I stopped for about 10 years and with a new job, suddenly found myself flying all over the country. The first flight after so long was frightening, so I had a friend fly with me... we had a couple of glasses of wine, and I got right back into the 'swing' of things. Now I'm just as relaxed as ever before; you probably will be too!
It helps to ask for the protection of whatever greater force you believe in (God, Goddess, Universe... I still ask the Archangel Michael 'fly with me tonight' every single time).

Have a little drink before you get on the plane. Not so much that they won't let you on, mind.
Then once you get on, if you are still nervous, drink some more. If the drinks are free on the flight, consume the mini-bar. Drown it in scotch. Then sit back and enjoy the in-flight movie.
That's what I usually do ;)

A good start is accepting the fact that you and most everybody on the plane is going to be nervous. My wife takes a Xanex pill right before boarding and it helps her calm down.

Take it to the Lord in prayer!
Philippians 4:6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
