no one who is a real football fan, remember the steelers are the defending superbowl champs, and if bens out for any amount of time this year, that is a big deal to teams like cincinatti, and other afc teams.

He did something dumb. He isn't hurt badly. He wasn't the focus of the team last year. Pittsburgh is a running team that plays great D, They will need him to make a stretch run, but if he missed a few games at the start of the season it probably wouldn't be that big of a deal. So I agree the story is dead and needs to just go away.,

Im tired of it, but it's still better than the other alternatives of the World Cup or steroids in baseball. I'll be so glad when the WC is over and we don't have to listen to anyone talk about soccer for another 4 years (at least here in the states.)

I'm with you. He was an idiot and got caught. I believe the media is trying to capitalize on what you would call a teachable moment. They are trying to enforce "wear helmets" on those who are fence sitters and the very young. They are showing this great athlete almost have everything taken away by a bad decision. I bet the NFL now adds a helmet clause or a no ride clause to all their next contracts.

Big ben is an idiot. First he says he's not going to wear a helmet and he crashes his face on metal!! Then we hear he has no Penn drivers license!!!! Then he says he'll one day RIDE AGAIN!!!! I lost all respect for this guy. So yes, i'm sick of it.
