Is dating when you are over 30 harder then dating as a teen?

Yes, because some men over 30 have really let themselves go. There aren't as many decent looking guys to chose from anymore.

No..I found it far easier. The teen years are difficult and searching times, often awkward. When you get older you CAN get wiser..if you choose :).
I was married very young age of 18, had 2 children, divorced 2 1/2 years later and remained single for a long time so had a long lived dating experience.
I finally found the best man for me...after I stopped falling for all the crap and looked at people more realistically...and also was true to myself!
Vince and I are happily ever after now for more than 11 years...and all the dating experiences pale in comparison.
Best of luck to you and remember to stay true to yourself...by not accepting less than you really need (In other words, throw out all the crap about the physical looks, money, power, status, etc. and look at the real person underneath. You can only do that after you look at yourself realistically, accept yourself and honor your own needs....in other words BE REAL..not the cliche but real. )

Yes, years of dating and relationships (good and bad) teach you what to look for in a date. You know better what you a re looking for and fall far less than young people for come on lines. As you grow older and experience more of life, your guard or wall of protection becomes much higher. Men and women alike have decided that they will take less garbage from the opposite sex.
