. If someone has hacked your account it is very likely that the person has also changed other information like "Hint Question" etc. So you will not have a chance to get it. However if you have just forgotten the password and you computer has locked up, te you can keep trying for the Hint Answer and Contact details as long as you can, since it does not lock however many times you try.
try to eliminate the obvious. Example if you have opened the account last year, you would have put some details pertaining to some circumstances around you. try those. Also since Hint questions are around 8-10.. You ca think of an answer for each question and try and try...
Nothing much will happen if you contact yahoo. You will never get a reply

If you dont remember your password, then only way that can help you is to contact yahoo customer care. and report them about this case.
