From Crystalink: Some of the greatest inventions in the world were by made by the Chinese. In the T'ang dynasty, fireworks were invented. These were originally for shows, but later on they used them to scare of enemies in war. The fireworks were mainly small bamboo cases filled with gunpowder, and a fuse was put on the side.
In the Han dynasty, they invented the wheelbarrow, which was for carrying loads too heavy for a normal person's back to support. The wheelbarrow was originally wood, so the Chinese nick named it the 'wooden ox'.
There is a long list of inventions there. Enjoy your time!

Invasion of China would be a disastrous idea. First off, Japan cant because it does not have an offensive military. Russia is China's allies and are both on good terms. US would crumble if China called it's debt and ceased trade. However, US would reign in air superiority and since they are better trained and armed. China has a very weak navy. No one would win. China has already been aggressive in a nuclear defence or offensive position.

They invented gun powder, fireworks, paper and silk too. How did it change the world? Easy, those things have a direct and indirect impact on the world. Can you record something without using any paper in those days? Can you fire a shot without gun powder on your guns or canons during a war? You can find more information on the internet.
