There is this girl that I am friends with( something like a BFF, something like a good friend) btu we graduated more than a month ago, and she is making no attemtps to find a job. We are supposed to be moving in together in augsut, but we both need to save money. I will be teaching so that will begin in september, and I have a summer gig that I will be saving from. I feel like she is already showing sign of irresponsiblity, and I dont want to be on judge mathis in two months. Am I being paranoid? Or should I really just get a place by myself?

No you are not being paranoid, do NOT move in with her! Just b/c y'all are best friends, doesn't mean she has to be your room-mate. Usually living with someone that is such a good friend, will change your relationship with her. Ya ll will have to worry about how clean the other is, if the bills will be paid on time and etc... And all that has to do with is responsibility!

Get your own place. What you're seeing in her is a SURE sign that you will be picking up her slack all the time. I watched a friend go through this recently, and the girl finally got a job but spent it all. He'd then pay her cell phone bill, fix her car, and all sorts of stuff...like a husband. He finally had her move out (luckily the rental was in his name only, smart guy). She STILL hasn't moved all her stuff out of his apartment. His dates are real uncomfortable with her stuff that's all around. I told him to put it into storage. He did....into her mother's driveway because the mother was fed up with her too and wouldn't take it.

The signs for future trouble is appearing now. You are wise enough to spot it. Tell her you're going to find a place of your own.

Get your own place don't ever let anyone move in with you unless it's your mom or something don't move in with anyone cause it causes lots of problems. I'm learning from that mistake now.

if she's already being this lazy then she's expecting you to support her lazy @ss as long as you will. When you kick her out, she'll find another sucka.
