No its not. Burka's origins has nothing to do with the taliban. Most women with a strict Islamic way of life wear the burka, and they can be seen throughout the middle east and south asia. Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Afghanistan, Palestine, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, even some parts of China.
The stupid talibans enforced it when they had control in Afghanistan so many people think the burka is affiliated with them.

Taliban women have to cover their whole face, not even the eyes showing. The color of the barkas have nothing to do with it. The muslin women I know where black if it goes with the rest of their outfit, the color is only for fashion, not affiliation.

its true that muslims wear black coloured barkas..........but it doesnt mean that they are talibans or married to talibans..........its a tradition or custom of every muslim women to wear a barka when she goes out of her house in order that the other men or strangers not look at her or even a part of her nail.............. it is considered in muslim religion that if an unknown man looks at a muslim women and says wow she's so beautiful he would be considered as her husband....or that particular woman will be considered as a prostitute.....
