If you want to make Yahoo! your default mail client, it's easy...
Follow the steps that I give you, I hope you're using Windows XP Professional...
RIGHT CLICK on the start menu, not on the start button but on the toolbar, then click properties. In that window, you should see two tabs at the top of the window. Click on the Start menu Tab. There look at the section that says "Show on Start menu" There click on the choosing that saysEmail with the checkbox in fronty of it... Then change it to yahoo!
After that, Clcik OK, then click OK again. Now, click on the start menu button and click on the Yahoo! Email... logo... THAT's ALL!!!
STEPS:
Right Click on toolbar >>
Click Properties >>
Start Menu Tab >>
Customize in Startmenu ( Click on Customize ) >>
Show on Start Menu (SECTION) >>
Choose EMAIL Client >>
Yahoo! >>
OK >>
OK >>
Start Menu Button >>
Yahoo! Mail or sth... >>

Well what you are trying to say is not available. You check your yahoo mail using internet browser like internet explorer or mozill or opera or some other, where as outlook is e-mail client (its a software for sending and receiving mail without using browser). for a e-mail client you must have its pop account.
Yahoo offers paid pop accounts. then you can check your yahoo mail account through outlook

Simply go to Yahoo and create a user account and then get in touch with all your Outlook Express contacts and give them your new addy.

u can do it with yahoo mail plus and not with free yahoo email ID.
