It seems you have a contradiction in terms. You say that you are waiting patiently, and yet you are doing something. Waiting infers inactivity, yet you are doing something.

Living in slower, lower Delaware, one learns that the pace of activity is nothing like that of an active metropolitian area. I retired from the NY/NJ area. There, if you had an appointment, you went at the time of the appointment and were in to see your correspondant within 5 minutes. Here, I have waited over an hour in a doctor's office to see him. There, if someone had an appointment with you, he showed up on time. Here, he might show up an hour later. You learn to live with the attitude of your fellow man, although it is difficult.

im being patient about my boyfriend calling. About leaving for the lake. About waiting for school to start. About what to do in life. About what is next to come. Wow im really bored. Im not patient about my food cooking though. grrrr. or how slow my computer is sometimes

trying to be patient as my husband (military) is overseas for next 9-12 months (depends on the mission, of course) and I am missing him and missing being "us" - tho i am grateful for email and phones! tho neither are dependable because of the distance, weather, time difference and other variables.
