Well you sort of have to look into your self and ask.
No, there is no proof.
It is just a feeling, and that is the hard part of it.
Now, I do believe in one, count them, one God. I am not agnostic or atheist.
And probably every religious person on the planet hates my guts because I don't believe the way they do. Screw them.
You look inside yourself, you look around you and wonder what created everything, and you draw your own conclusions.
Nobody else has the right to do that for you.
So, it isn't a matter of if I believe in God, or the Ayatollah whoever, or even Pat Roberson (May a goat piss in his bushes)
It is a matter of whether YOU end up thinking there is a God.
I understand the Invisible Pink Unicorn and the Flying Spaghetti Monster are available otherwise.
(Google them)

If you think about how the first people might have lived their lives, say, using caves for shelter, hunting for their daily sustenance, at the mercy of nature's elements... you might understand that they needed to explain their fortunes and disasters in a larger sense. Before science, and fact-finding, there were only questions, like 'why?' and 'what for?' God was the answer to the rain, the sun, the nighttime moon, a good hunt, a famine, thunder and lighting - remember paganism?
As soon as people could communicate with words, they could say "me", or "I." I am. I remember. I will. Can you remember the time before your I? Can you honestly and fully conceive of the world without "me?"
And as humans evolved into more organized groups and societies, some of them realized that the need to put their faith and future into something intangible, something great and unseen, would be the best device for controlling the rest of them. For example, most cultures used to believe that their royalty were gods, or godly. “Why do I have to fight in this war?” – Because the emperor has decreed it, and we must all follow the holy emperor. It did, however, create order and unite the people very effectively. After all, the 10 commandments are just a recipe for living peacefully among other human beings!
The truth of it is, no one likes to be alone. Most social interaction is imperfect. Nobody really understands EVERYTHING about anybody else because all people perceive the world with their unique set of senses and preconceived ideas. So they turn to the intangible. It's convenient (right there in your head with you), and comfortable, and a tribute to the traditions of our cultures.
For times of grief, and unanswerable questions - "God only knows."
For times of happiness and success - "count your blessings".
For times of loneliness and needing advice - "God the Father".
Humans co-exist in an interactive flow that disseminates knowledge exponentially as it evolves. We learned to think and talk. We learned to write things down for posterity. We learned to broadcast across vast spaces with radio waves, and then satellites, and now - the internet. More than ever, we are becoming one community, and getting our ideas from each other. This doesn’t mean we all think the same. It just means we can be much more aware of everyone else. It means that if we wanted to, we really COULD understand why a person might think or do something that “I” would never do. And then, wouldn’t we see that Humanity, for all its flaws, is the most perfect thing we all could ever be? – The best of each and every diverse one of us?

I am not a true believer but to believe something is a matter of faith, before I sent this you did not know I existed, but I did, now if you tell some of your Friends the nicest guy sent you a really nice message would they believe you (without showing this message) they would either believe or not on faith in your word. That's what its all about really.

A child runs to its mother for solace and comforts. It cries mummy and runs. The mother picks up the child and puts on her shoulder and comforts it. Same way we humans need at times of distress a shoulder to comfort us , an imaginary one. That is God. We commit some sin. We feel ashamed We want to wash it off and start a new life , turn a new leaf in our life. We go to our imaginary GOD who is all powerful and he accepts all our sins, takes it upon him and says you are sin free now and go and live happily.
If such a belief can give us so much comfort, solace and strengthen us what isw wrong in such a belief.

Everyone believes in unprovable concepts all the time. With God, the concept is simple. Without God, ie without an afterlife, life itself has no meaning. People with consciousness cannot reconcile life with no meaning, no absolutes, no morality.

sure, the God of Israel (the Christian God) does exist. For evidence of the God of Israel please examine under: The Judo-Christian God of the Bible is the only and actual God with the aid of fact he's the only God that has withstood the try of time, technology, history, and prophecies of the Bible. that's often considered in the process the ineffective Sea Scrolls that have been written over 2000 years in the past; proving that it with stood the try of time with the aid of fact it suits up observe-for-observe of the Hebrew Bible in the present day. Verses at the same time with Leviticus 17:14 pointing out “For it truly is the life of all flesh; the blood of it truly is for the life thereof: as a result I mentioned unto the youngsters of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no way of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it is going to likely be cut back off.” and Isaiah 40:22 pointing out “it truly is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to stay in:”. those verses interior the Bible are shown to be scientifically actual hundreds of years as quickly as they have been written! The Israelites being enslaved to the Egyptians 3000 years in the past and the Israelites spending 40 years interior the desolate tract is traditionally precise proving that the Bible stands the try of history. And the try of prophecy is being fulfilled good now by making use of the worldwide leaders discussing and making plans how on they, the leaders of the worldwide, are waiting to unite the worldwide with the aid of a worldwide government and financial equipment. that's written interior the Bible in verse of Revelation 13:7 “And it replace into given unto him to make conflict with the saints, and to overcome them: and capacity replace into given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and international locations.” and in Revelation 13:sixteen-17 “And he causeth all, the two small and massive, wealthy and adverse, loose and bond, to get carry of a mark of their good hand, or of their foreheads: And that no guy could purchase or sell, keep he that had the mark, or the call of the beast, or the variety of his call.”.

Have you ever seen tomorrow's sunrise? I bet you believe it is going to happen. Have you ever seen a proof of the Bernouli effect, or do you just trust that your plane will fly?
Faith is all around us. Some people have faith in some things, some in others.

Science has proven there is a God. In a vacumn, there is no action or reaction. In the words of Billy Preston, God rest his soul, "nothin' from nothin' leaves nothin'." Even if you believe the big bang, who lit the fuse?

With God...It's best to have believed and He not exist than to find out He does exist and not to have believed.
