First of all, you can't just pick any old job. You've got to be good at the job first. This is usually shown on a resume.
Secondly, think. What are your main job-like situations? Do you like office working? Are you good at sorting papers? You've got to ask yourself a lot of things what will make you choose your own job. No one else can choose a job for you if we don't know what you are good at or you interests.

I reccommend going to www.tickle.co.uk / .com and they have a free and detailed careeer test available. I also did their IQ test, which has a section in the report which explains what your strengths are when it comes to career choices. It was spookily accurate for me. I would give that a go too.
What ever you end up doing, make sure that it is something that you enjoy, as you are going to spend a hell of a lot of time doing it over the next 40 odd years (how depressing eh?)

Make a list of things you like and what you don't like. It may help you decide what you should do. We took and "aptitude" test in high school to help with potential career possibilities. Perhaps you may want to complete one of these.

Doesn't your associate program provider have resources such as a career office or career assessment? That's the best place to start.

Firstly, think about what you used to like to do when you was a kid... what extra curricular activities or projects you we're involved in.. For professional career test you should go to a psychologist, or try www.careerkey.org, www.queendom.com/tests/career/index.html, www.careerplanner.com, etc (go ogle-> career test)
