I'm looking for something similar to the one by Les and Leslie Parrot or the ones used in pre-marital couselling. I'm looking for something my husband and I can do simultaneously and that would help us understand one another better. The expectations we have of one another are just...well, we could use some fine tuning, put it that way. THANKS!! (married 13 1/2 months, by the way)

Good answers so far. I LOVE ivillage! I've talked and listened until I'm blue in the face and we've GOT to get unstuck! Most days are good, but the bad ones are the pitts. We do belong to a church and attend marriage events and will attend classes BUT I'D LIKE to take advantage of the hours we have alone plus we both like questionnaires, puzzles, quizzes and PEACE! Keep it coming...good stuff! Also, we belong to a spousal support club through his job. Still need more help to get to where we believe we can be, though: intimately connected like we used to be.

Ask your local church for a copy of their pre-marital question book. I know this isn't a web site and may require more effort to look into churches if you are not a member of one, but I thought the workbook my husband and I filled out and reviewed together from the Methodist church we got married in was good and not a "Cosmo" type quiz.

Better yet than looking for a assessment, Talk to your husband and tell him.

Men and women are not mind readers...we don't know what you want unless you tell us.
