Hmmm ... interesting replies but I'd like to add the follow-up detail (sorry if this is too graphic) that I did lay my penis on too of his opening for a bit, though I don't know if I could technically call that penetration.

being a virgin is in the head. Not to say, you're a virgin until you give head (just you wait, you'll love it)

you had a sexual encounter with a guy. I'd say you lost your virginity at that point. The rest is just gravy, Baby!

That's a tough question. It is more clearly defined for women as when the hymen is penetrated. For men it depends on the society or culture. Some would define it as reaching orgasm through the physical actions of another person. Others say that penetration must be involved. Unless it is an important issue, what does it really matter as long as you enjoy what you do.

Well Technically you are still a Virgin, however it gets complicated as far as Gay Sexual Activity, not all gays have Oral or Anal penetrating Intercourse and it sometimes just strictly involves heavy Body Grinding, Making Out and Mutual Masturbation-so due to the fact that you "did" have a sexual relation/manipulation with another man, I would have to say "No", but your still a butt virgin. No pun intended.

Yes you are still a virgin. Losing one's virginity takes penetrative sex. Either you must penetrate, or be penetrated. At that time, even if it's just for a few seconds or strokes and no one comes, you will no longer be a virgin.

if you want to take the strict christian definition, you are no longer a virgin the moment you have any sexual contact be it penetration or not. the moment the mind starts thinking about "dirty" things its no longer pure therefore you are no longer a virgin. but HELL who cares what those christians think.

i think in this time and age, you'll need penetration to lose your virginity. you know, oral sex and the whole works.

so congrats! you are still a virgin my friend! ;)
keep trying ;P

No dear, you're still a virgin, in both senses. You have neither been penetrated nor have you penetrated another person. Remember to protect yourself though. Enjoy!

You are still a virgin , If you have not actually been penetrated , penetrated , then you are still a virgin . Hand jobs and oral sex does not constitute loss of virginity .

In my mind a person has to be penetrated to lose virginity. In your case, if you penetrated him, then you would also no longer be a virgin. Penetration has to be involved in my mind for a person to lose virginity. Hope that's clear.

This is one of those things I love about being gay -- you have as many virginities as a Southern belle.

In my opinion, you have a virginity for every sexual thing you can possibly do. I would say you have a number of virginities left!

Honey, till you get a nut, you are still a virgin. Unless you have anal sex, thats a given. I never got off till I was about 13, when I did it freaked me out pretty bad. I masterbated and when I got off, I thought the whole world new. LOL. Pretty freaky stuff till you get used to it, then it's fun. Donna
