Depends on the man, not all men lie. From my experience men are too lazy to lie. They cant keep up the lies they create, so they find it easier not to. I think, women lie more than men (and I'm a woman)

have known women that are painfully honest and some that couldn't tell the truth if their life depended on it. I will share this thought with you though, lieing is kind of a compliment . if they lie a lot they are complimenting you, think about the reason people lie, they don't want to be judged by you on the truth, they fear your judgment. so they tell you something that they think will have the desired results. they put a notion in your head that will arrive at the conclusion they hope for. that's a compliment, they value your opinion so much that they will lie to avoid you thinking negatively about them. little do they realize, when you know they are lieing, you still think negatively about them. I guess they think there is that faint chance you will believe them.

Although that is somewhat of a stereotype, i have a few guesses.
Sometimes men want to impress women by lying about things they have, places they've been, or jobs they've occupied. they want to seem more than what they are.
Sometimes they lie to stay out of trouble about where they've been because they don't want to hurt you.
They may also lie because they don't think you're able to handle the truth.
Otherwise, men, like women, lie a lot in order to impress the opposite gender. That's all i can think of.

He has no reason to lie~ he makes the money, if he wants something~ then we talk about it,, and if it isn't the right time to buy an item, we put the money in the bank,, save a little more..then purchase whatever it might be.
