probably not a whole lot i could do other than hope someone came home soon and that i didn't die before they got there. guess it would depend if i could move though. if i could get myself to a phone i'd call 911

some people can walk around with a broken neck and not know it is broken. This could add injury to the spinal cord. I think I would determine how far away a phone was as to whether or not I would try to reach it. Also, how long before someone is due home? Some broken necks can kill you instantly. So........everybody........be careful coming down the stairs and keep your cell phone or cordless with you. Sheesh. There is always something to worry about!

If I could move I would get to a phone...I knew someone that broke his neck in an auto accident and walked several miles to get help. That's about all you can do if alone. IF you live w/someone you would be better off laying as still as you could to prevent worsening the injury until that someone comes home...1st rule for neck and back injury...DO NOT MOVE...but it could be necessary to move but try very hard not to move head and neck and back.

If you had a cell phone, and had use of your arms, you would call 911
Otherwise, you sort of lie there and hope someone finds you before you start smelling funny.
They do make emergency pagers for the elderly, if that was what you were asking. They are either a necklace, or around the wrist. You still have to have some movement available to activate them.

I would send for heavenly angels to heal my broken neck. If the angels are on their lunch break, i would use all the strength i had to call 911 for help.

Think where the closest phone is, get to it slowly by crawling or pushing along on my back, and call 911 (emergency services). I would try to keep my neck as still as possible (braced if possible).

Well, I would probably be dead. If I wasn't, I would yell for help (if I was capable of it). If I couldn't yell, I would wait until someone arrived to call for help. I don't know what else to tell you.
