i ran out of my favorite fragrance/aftershave thingy (armani, the black one) and want to try something else, whats your favorites? any suggestions?

Well, if you want a woman's point of view, ask her. Better yet, take one with you when you go shopping. Try to give the salesperson a description of what sort of scent you are looking for. (For example, when I shop for perfume, I ask for something with spicy undertones - clove, cinnamon, vanilla) Have her spray test strips and give them a whiff. Pick out the one you like best and have her test it on your wrist. (Do not rub your wrists together, let it dry naturally.) Get your lady friends opinion. If you both like it, chances are you have a winner.
For guys, I like a clean, citrusy scent. Geoffrey Beene has one called "Bowling Green" that an old boyfriend of mine wore. I remember liking that one. There is also a unisex scent from Hermes called "Un Jardin sur le Nil". Good luck and have fun picking out a new scent!!

Personally, I believe that fragrance is such a personal thing, depends alot on what YOU like, your style etc.... Having said that, to me, Ralph Lauren Polo always reminds me of cute preppy boys in high school, plain Patchouli is hippie boys and Sung for Men (by Alfred Sung) still stops me in my tracks whenever I smell it.......sooooooo sexy

Polo Green for sophistication. Lacoste for sporty scent.

Yes I'd say Stetson, or there are some nice cologne's in our avon books that smells really nice.

I think Cool Water smells great. And I know this one has been around forever, but I'll follow you everywhere if you have on some Polo. lol
