I need to look into a possible email scam for transferring and transacting large sums of money to consumers in United States.

It's probably a scam so don't do anything but delete it. If it were legitimate, people would have contacted you through registered mail and then I would be hesitant.

if you didn't buy a ticket, then you have not won anything. these scammers target people who are desparate for money and tell them that they have to forward a "processsing fee ". The victim sends the fee and never sees a dime. another scam is the " dead relative" scam out of nigeria. Someone emails you and says that a person with your last name has died in a car crash and left no heirs. They offer to represent you in claiming the millions this " relative" has left behind. You pay thousands in legal fees and never see a dime again. beware of anything that looks too good to be true. If most often IS!

I did receive scam, but from Nigeria, not from The Netherlands. They said they needed a Dutch account. But of course it was a trick.

Yes! I get those all the time. I think they found my email address on a pen-pal website that I used for my class. It is an annoying scam.

They are a dime a dozen out there. I constantly get them. Don't fall for any of their scams. They are nothing but idiots.

yes, there are many scams i was getting them for some time and i just ignored them for awhile and then I reply telling them that i would report them to authorities. and then they stopped.
