They get very annoyed when you do it at inappropriate times, like interrupting their meal at a restaurant to get it. They may turn you down angrily. Best is to wait for an opening, be polite, ask nicely, and accept it if they turn you down. Have your OWN pen and paper ready - can you believe people ask for an autograph and expect the celeb to provide the supplies? And understand that they might not be able to meet your request - especially if honoring your request would open the floodgates and they would be expected to give autographs to 50 other people standing next to you. And if you're in a situation where you see a celeb eating in a restaurant, the ideal way to ask is to have your server do it for you. That way, the celeb doesn't have a stranger coming up to them AND it doesn't tip off to the other patrons in the restaurant that someone famous is in there. I've done that one myself, and not only did the server get the autograph for me, he told me the celeb said "thanks" for allowing him to keep his identity low-key. (I'm really good at spotting celebs out in public while they're trying to pass unnoticed.)

Well, I've only met one Celebrity and that was Vanna White and she was SO nice she was actually doing a signing she signed an extra picture for me that I had. I'm sure some Celebrities do get annoyed but they have to realize without the fans buying the tickets to see the movies or etc...where would they be???

It varies depending on the person and the circumstances. Some feel that without fans, they wouldn't have a careeer; some are very private and regard any intrusion on their own lives and time with dread; some are in a situation they'd rather not be in and are trying to get out of it as quickly as possible; some charge for their signatures.

A very few amount of Celebrities get annoyed by that kind of thing.It depends on their attitudes.

I like giving autographs. Only the true pricks get annoyed. They seem to forget that the fans are the ones responsible for their high success rating.

I was in hollywood last year and i saw hilary duff and i asked her... she said for me to **** off! Most do if you catch them at a bad time...But i once got britney spears autograph in destin fl. and she was pretty nice about it!
