I would have to say today it is Beckham, I live in the US who are kind of soccer ignorant, except for myself, I am a huge fan. I say Beckham, because of his popularity of the press with his wife and movies and his modeling. I think if Ronaldinho was married to an ex spice girl or had some controversy in the press. Or was even a little more marketable in the looks area he could take it from the aging Beckham. I think Pele is a name that every American knows and that's rare for America, if this is about this World Cup, I say Beckham though.

Need we say more...the great Pele hands down. He defined the World Cup and all it's glory. No Ronaldinho or Beckham can stand in his way.
