In no particular order: 1. "Moonshine" by Badfinger [Not one of Badfinger's more well-known songs, but Pete Ham's guitar work in this song is easily some of his best. If you love slide guitar, look this one up!] 2. "The Zoo" by Scorpions [Not Scorpions' most spectacular guitar work, but I love the lead in this track.] 3. "Radar Love" by White Lion [This one's a cover which includes some great guitar work by Vito Bratta, who is often overlooked as the great guitarist he was. Some people claim he's an Eddie Van Halen rip off but, in all honesty, he's very original. Check this one out, if you haven't already!] Keep in mind that these three solos are not necessarily each artists' best but, instead, are just three of my favorite solos. Also, I didn't include instrumentals because they're basically long solos.

Have to agree with your Gilmour. However the other two I feel are Mark Knopfler-Telegraph Road and, Eric Clapton-While My Guitar Gently Weeps from the Bangladesh album.

Yeah, Gilmour is cool, Hendrix is still unique. Alex Lifeson has done some pretty awesome stuff in his glory days. My all time favourite solo is Ritchie Blackmore in Gates of Babylon (Rainbow's Long Live Rock 'n Roll album). Check it out!

I would have to put these up there with 'em, though.
