Women are not trying to BE men. We are trying to be equal TO men. If you are going to go back to women being on the bottom then we also have to go back to discriminating agaisn't the minorities. But I don't think that it is the woman ruining the marriage. It only gets ruined when the husband can't accept that his wife makes more money than him.

Growing up my mother was the one with the successful business while my dad stayed home with the kids and it didn't ruin the marriage by any means, they have been married for nearly twenty five years. marriage can't work if one person is superior, you need to be on equal fronts as a team.

Most women end up acting more like the man of the house because the "man" is on the couch or into his OWN thing while her role is taking care of the house, going out to work, taking care of children, cook, teacher, laborer, launderymate, drives everyone around, a supervisor at home, a receptionist who makes out a weekly schedule, runs a home resturaunt, and then at then end of the night her "man" expects her to be a sex kitten. How about if "men" really start to act like 'Men." Work another JOB so she can stay home IF she choses and give her unlimited MONEY and her freedom. Your way will never happen unless you are an abusive man who deserves no respect.

I don't think I'm acting 'like a man' by wanting to go the school, have a career, and have a life outside of home. I think that it is acting independently and as an individual - or in other words, like a HUMAN BEING.
And if the man I am with is too much of a coward to accept that, than I will not be with him for long. After all, as women are finding out, it is much better to do things on your own than with an unsupportive prick at your side.

Wow, I gotta hand it to you. I could not possibly let a man or anyone for that matter give me orders. For starters, what makes them qualified? Secondly, it is so much easier to take orders therefore never having to take responsibility for any of your own choices. And finally, women would not have to act like a man if there were any men around that acted like men.

Sounds like you're feeling very insecure about women having the ability to juggle it all.

You'll need some help with that type of thinking. See a psychiatrist before it's too late. Otherwise, you may end up old and lonely, thinking of the what ifs.

The problem is that men are, by nature, very insecure about their leadership abilities. any strong woman is a serious threat to men's "masculine authority".

So, the question should be if married men wreck their marriages because of their insecurities .

........I apologize in advance if this sounds rude, but get real.

Femenism is the "radical" notion that a female is a human being and should be treated as such.

When surveyed around 90% of men said that they were femenists when given that definition. That was five years ago.

So, sorry to break it to you, but most women in the US will do whatever they darn well please, and a man who tries to stop them better have a darn good lawyer.

Actually those are stereotypes, everyone is capable of doing anything he or she wants, we just have to embrace that in ourselves. A guy can work in the kitchen and make pretty things and still be straight if he wants to.

Yes they do sometimes because of their insecurities and because they eventually becomes mother .... they want to be a mother to their man. You know a real man will not settle for that type of behaviour. They are the weaker vessel and in many cases they boast which work against them ........

I have been happily married for 24 years. My husband likes doing cooking. He doesn't give me orders, I don't give him orders.

We don't have a fifties TV type marriage.

I bet you are single.
