I went to High School with Robert Patrick.
He graduated a year behind me from Farmington High School, in Farmington Michigan. He was a super nice, funny guy. I am really glad he is doing so well, he is on a TV series now called "The Unit" Colonel Tom Ryan. I hope soon he wins some awards because all the movies he has been in he is really a great actor.

Being a geek pays off. You join a local Star Trek fan club. When a sci-fi convention comes to town, that's who they might turn to for security personnel or at least to make sure costumed people show up. If you do get to provide special security, then there's always the chance you'll get some small group time with one of the actors/actresses. Met many Star Trek people. Ethan Phillips is top of my list.

I met Magnus Magnusson in the Waverley Bar in Edinburgh about 11 years ago - very nice man. I also spotted Julia Roberts in Edinburgh once but never actually met her. They're all just people doing a job like everyone else and I can understand why some of them get annoyed with people constantly wanting their attention.

The most famous person I have met is Davy Jones, from The Monkey's all the way back! He's a very nice man. I have also met the country singer Josh Gracin a couple times, I love him to death and it was an awesome experience both times to be able to hug him and get pictures =)

My dad was friends with Roy Rodgers and took me to meet him at a rodeo. I've also met Frankie Avalon (the beach movies of the 60's), John Denver, Olivia Newton John, and Elvira.

However, for me, my dad was the biggest celebrity I have ever known. He may not have been famous, but he was a star in my eyes!
