we are getting very disgruntled by the constant deception from our government. the average citizen is feeling backed into a corner by increasing pressures. we will soon need to band together out of necessity and stand together for each others rights. i hope this will happen soon.

For ever. Yes it is simple as that. Americans along with all other nationalities will continue to argue amonst themselves until the end of time. There are only "best answers" in yahoo. Life simply does not have one answer that fits best because all situations demand exceptions to the rule.
As for the second part (your "exception") "they and the world" will also continue to suffer until the end of time. Without suffering how will we know joy? What would we compare it to?

Americans will argue among themselves until the Chinese come in and wish to collect their debt that the US owes to them. Right now China is the biggest booming world economy and USA have borrowed billions from them.
This is also one of the reasons oil is so expensive as the Chinese now use tons more than 5 years ago.
