You need formal training in the field, as well as enough experience with small roles to get an equity card so that anyone will find you credible. Then you need the talent, ambition, class, and attitude to pick and chose the roles, find the network that will help you, play the politics, and get your break. Then the people have to like your co-star, or everything could be ruined... basically, there's too much involved to risk it if you don't believe in it.

Fist off take lots of acting classes and hire a agent. It takes a lot of work just getting into the entertainment field and not everyone makes it (I have been trying for years and have only had a couple walk on roles in movies) but try becoming an extra and try talking to some of the people that you look up to (either actor or directors) and ask them how they got into that field and what classes and agents you need to look for.

You become famous and well paid by trial and error. Basically you just don't. The ones that got to be that way, got there for two reasons THEY TRIED + THEY HAD LUCK

You should go on a reality television show (seriously) and that will get you well known. WHile you're on there make a name for yourself and the opportunities will come rolling in. Otherwise find a friend who has a friend, who knows somebody in the industry.

Go to school to learn theatrics,You must have the raw talent and the drive to suceed ,Go to auditions and prctice your art to the best of your ability.Being in the right place at the right time helps also.
