It depends on your state, check with your labor board office in your state. In California they usuually give fired employees their check on the date of termination, employees who quit are supposed to get it within 72 hours. If they don't the employee can file a complaint with the labor board and get a days pay for every day late the check is, so if you don't get paid for a week after getting fired, they'd also owe you a few days as penalty but will probably only pay you if the labor board makes them.

Depends on state law. Some states, the employer must cut you a check for all you wages up to that time, in others you must go home and wait until payday and pick it up. Sometimes they mail it so you do not have to appear back where you just got fired.

Depends what state - in GA -
Fired = check in hand that day.
Laid off = check in hand next payday.
The NLRB - National Labor Relations Board - is always a sourceof excellent information, and they will represent you powerfully and free of charge. May have to find them in a close big city, but you can also call your congressman's office in D.C. andthey will hook you up instantly.

You should receive your check on the next pay period. The company must pay you all vacation time owed. I believe they company has 30 days after separation to give you the termination package.
